New Zealand is having the ski season of a lifetime. They have more snow than most can remember in the previous couple decades, and closing dates keep getting pushed back. Only sometimes, it can get a little inconvenient before turning back to good times. A blizzard that rocked the Mt. Ruapehu area this past weekend ended up closing roads and stranding visitors. For those who stuck the weather out, though, once the clouds parted, the skiing was prime and the party was on. Check out these photos and videos of the blizzard and resulting powder days.
