A little while back we mapped what we humbly considered the most iconic buildings in all of the City of Boston. And, lo, did the comments and the emails flood in. First, thank you for caring. Second, we hear you on some points (like the McKim Building at the Boston Public Library, pictured above). In response, herewith is an updated version of said map, one showing a dozen of the buildings, big and small, antiquated and fairly modern(ist), that positively scream "Boston!" to the outside world—and to many of us here, surely.
