The estate of the late Sam Simon, a co-creator of The Simpsons and a guy with great architectural taste, has hit the market in Pacific Palisades and includes not only a genuine 1948 Case Study House, but also a whole other, much more modern house, too. This is quite the two-for-one deal, even at this price. The Case Study House #20 (aka The Bailey House), designed by Richard Neutra, was just the cool house next door until Simon bought it in 2004 from its then-owners and added it to his existing property, says the Wall Street Journal. Shortly after that, Simon hired the firm Marmol Radziner to restore the place.
