Scream Queens, the latest in the Ryan Murphy horror-comedy canon, began last week on Fox with a bloodbath two-hour premiere. Like the third and fourth seasons of Murphy's American Horror Story series (which he co-created with Brad Falchuk who, along with Ian Brennan, collaborated with Murphy on Scream Queens), the horror spoof about the cutthroat — literally — Kappa Kappa Tau sorority was filmed in New Orleans. Local spots like Tulane University (playing the fictional Wallace University) and the P.J.'s Coffee location on Maple Street (disguised as the campus coffee shop, The Grind) are very recognizable on the show. But the place where all the action (read: murder) happens, the Kappa house, is harder to locate in real life — and that's because it's in an exclusive neighborhood in Old Metairie.
