That artist Olafur Eliasson and engineer Frederik Ottesen have created a solar powered phone charger is charming enough, but the fact that Eliasson spends the entire Kickstarter video with a parrot on his shoulder, like some sort of Icelandic inventor-pirate, sends this campaign into the stratosphere of Kickstarter campaigns. It looks like it's going to meet it's $56,345 goal with no problem, and well deserved it will be.
