Alone, the concept that housing is difficult to come by for working adults in Aspen is no great revelation. Thankfully, Aspen NextGen, a city commission that advocates policy for 18 to 40 year olds, isn't just asking obvious questions then walking away. The group conducted a survey that found 92 percent of young adults in Aspen want to make it long term but run up against significant challenges — the biggest being housing. Then, according to the Aspen Times, the group then ran a second survey to dig deeper into locals' thoughts on the city's affordable housing program.
