This Fully Transparent Concert Hall Design Looks Like a Giant Snowglobe

New, 1 comment

This conceptual Tokyo music center design from German firm Fly Architecture takes the idea of a space designed for an audience to the furthest extreme by sheathing the entire thing in glass. The main concert hall on the top floor is the undoubted highlight, with a full glass ceiling separating concertgoers from the sky. The idea, apparently, is the make the world of classical music more accessible and less bourgeois, and while we definitely have doubts about it accomplishing that goal, it is a beautiful and intriguing design nonetheless.
