It Was Not a Huge Stretch to Turn This Tree Branch Into a Very Cool Shelf

New, 2 comments

This shelf from Chilean designer Sebastian Errazuriz is a good example of less being more—while most people who design furniture take parts of trees, cut them up, sand them, piece them together with joints, etc. Errazuriz skipped every step except for the first one (take part of tree) and still manage to create something very cool by just adding some varnish and a few glass plates. Can the shelf hold very many books? No, it cannot, but in this case it is forgiven.
