AIA Announces Its 2016 Institute Honor Award Winners

New, 1 comment

On the heels of the Pritzker announcement earlier this week, the AIA just announced its Institute Honor award winners earlier today, 18 projects spanning architecture, interior architecture and regional and urban planning. The mostly U.S.-based projects (with one notable outlier in Hong Kong) honor completed projects and forthcoming plans, including high-tech schools, ambitious plans for museums and cities, and a series of striking interior designs. Many have an institutional or social focus, especially in the fields of education, while others honor ambitious restorations of iconic structures.
