New York-based collective ArtCodeData created this World Metro Map, which combines 214 subway systems from around the world, and while it's not going to help you get anywhere, it's still a lot of fun to look at. "We chose the subway because it's an element with similar characteristics in every big city around the world," said designer Gerardo Cid. "It's something someone living in Tokyo, Mexico City or New York or Istanbul can relate to. A map is just a way to say we are all sharing a parallel experience, [so] why don't we connect it?" And who knows, maybe it could make a nice wallpaper or something?
