This Is What a Capsized Cruise Ship Looks Like After Four Years of Sitting in the Sea

New, 3 comments

Photographer Jonathan Danko Kielkowski took these pictures of the wrecked Costa Concordia, the Italian cruise ship that capsized of the coast of Tuscany in 2012, by simply swimming out to the moored ship and climbing aboard. While these are obviously not the ideal conditions for a cruise ship, it does look strangely beautiful, with sea plants covering one ceiling and making it look like some sort of haunted oceanic palace. Kielkowski's book, Concordia, is being published next month.
