Japanese Designers Have Created a Floating Bonsai Tree

We have nothing bad to say about this. Japanese designers The Hoshinchu Team have created bonsai trees that float in midair, and they are incredible.

The Air Bonsai, which has (unsurprisingly) already blown its $80,000 Kickstarter goal out of the water, works by suspending a ball of moss in which the tree is planted above an "energy base." As you may have guessed already, it's done with magnets, but "energy base" sounds a lot cooler than "magnet base."
