This Bike Helmet Is Made With Wood Pulp Instead of Styrofoam

Not only is this bike helmet made out of wood, but the entire thing—even the protective stuff on the inside—is made out of renewable forest products. Instead of styrofoam, it uses a biodegradable wood pulp-based foam material called Cellufoam, which was developed at the Wallenberg Wood Science Center in Sweden, and is now being developed further by a company called Cellutech and the Swedish Forest Industries Federation's Ekoportal2035. And the styrofoam alternative could have many other applications in addition to bike helmets, of course.
