The fact that this bizarrely classy McDonald's restaurant is indirectly the fault of LL Bean feels like it just makes sense, for some strange reason. To explain: the McDonald's is located in Freeport, Maine. Also located in Freeport are 1) LL Bean's headquarters, 2) a sort of outlet mall that has accumulated around the headquarters, and 3) some tight restrictions around the appearances of businesses. Hence, this McDonald's.
