This past summer we were thrilled to hear about Aspen Skiing Company's announcement of a second Limelight Hotel in Ketchum, Idaho in proximity to Sun Valley's River Run base of Bald Mountain. We're big fans of the Aspen Limelight, our go-to Aspen lodging and a fixture on our list of the 38 Essential Ski Town Hotels thanks to a central downtown location, upscale atmosphere, and reasonable pricing. The Aspen Ski Co. began construction of the new Limelight Hotel Ketchum this past July with 125 units including 14 residential units. Now, we have a sneak peak into what the hotel's interiors will look like, designed by the Colorado firm Rowland + Broughton.
As expected, the property will share a similar aesthetic as the Aspen location including an open lobby and lounge with a bright color palette and earth-toned modern guest rooms and condos. These renderings give a first look of what hotel guests and perspective condo owners can expect when the hotel opens in time for winter 2016/17. Sun Valley visitors can also stop by the recently opened sales and model room at the Copper Ridge building to experience a sampling of the upcoming property in person.
