2016 Curbed gift guide: now on Pinterest

This year, we're taking our best editors' picks to our favorite visual bookmarking app

If you buy something from a Curbed link, Vox Media may earn a commission. See our ethics policy.

When it comes to the old holiday gift guide, we decided to do things a little differently this year. For 2015, Curbed published 12 themed guides to help shop for even the pickiest, say, mother-in-law obsessed with Nancy Meyers movies.

For 2016, we started with a list of 101 must-read books for city dwellers, culled from editors across the Curbed network as well as eminent critics, writers, and city people. For those on the hunt for cold, hard, commercial goods to give and receive, we’re taking the action to Pinterest. You can check out the full section of editor-approved, home-oriented gifts on Curbed’s Pinterest board, with a few highlights pulled out below.

^ Marina Towers pins from Mid Mod Pins, $18
Bertrand Goldberg's iconic Marina Towers, in pin form! Give the pair as a gift, or split with your MCM-loving BFF.

LoRox Aligned Rollers at OPTP, $15-$45
These aligned foam rollers (in both regular- and travel- size) are perfect for the wellness-inclined recipient on your list. A bit of insider baseball: The pattern reminds us of the iconic Wrong Woods collection from Established & Sons.

Optic table tiles by Bower at Poketo, $20 >
Pro tip: Coasters are a fail proof Secret Santa gift. Every time. These are sporty, graphic, and about as much as a garden variety Starbucks gift card.

^ Miniature concrete homes complete set, $225
Soften up the devoted Brutalist (or Lego-loving graduate) in your life with this miniature concrete homes set from MIM Studio.
