Have a nomination for a jaw-dropping listing that would make a mighty fine House of the Day? Get thee to the tipline and send us your suggestions. We'd love to see what you've got.

Location: Palm Springs, California

Price: $969,000

Zsa Zsa Gabor, the Hungarian-American actress best known for her glamorous lifestyle and many marriages, died yesterday in Los Angeles. The Hollywood legend once famously proclaimed, “I am a marvelous housekeeper. Every time I leave a man, I keep his house.”

Now a home that once belonged to Gabor—whether pre- or post-end-of-a-relationship, we can only guess—is on the market in Palm Springs. Built in 1958 and well-preserved and updated since then, the 1,784-square-foot two-bed-two-bath features the best in understated midcentury elegance.

You can almost picture the socialite gliding through the open, linear floor plan dressed in furs and looking out onto the mountainous, desert landscape through the wall of sliding glass doors, or lounging in front of the stone fireplace when the evening chill set in. A separate, glass-enclosed casita sits on the other side of the kidney shaped pool, where Gabor might have spent many hours basking in the sun.

Located at 19 Cahuilla Hills Drive, the home is asking $969,000. Rest in peace, Zsa Zsa. You had marvelous taste in houses.
