Polaroid has launched a range of 3D printers for the home, making it "the first time a household name has produced a 3D printer for the mass market," according to the company. The move makes sense when you consider that the two things Polaroid is most known for are Getting You Things Right When You Want Them and Printing Things That Are Small. The printers will, of course, work only with Polaroid's custom filament, which will probably become really hard to find in 30 years when this printer becomes obsolete, and then really easy to find ten years later when it experiences a sudden, massive resurgence in popularity.
