This Robot Is a Miracle of Technology But It's Still Hilarious to Watch It Walk

We'd be scared if it wasn't so funny

Atlas, the humanoid robot from Boston Dynamics, is incredible—it can walk over all sorts of terrain, absorb a blow and stay on its feet, and even pick itself up after falling down. (All of this is demonstrated in the video below by a man punching Atlas with a hockey stick, and you have ever seen anything more quintessentially Boston than a bunch of guys building a complex robot and then giving it shit with a hockey stick, we would love to hear about it.) It is truly an incredible achievement, which is why we feel sort of bad laughing at the funny way it walks. Not that bad, though.
