The Madeline Hotel in Telluride Completes Renovation

Upgrades include a new après ski destination

A $10 million renovation at Telluride, Colorado’s six-year-old four-diamond rated Madeline Hotel and residences is now complete. The highlight of the final phase of renovations is the Sky Terrace, a 4,000-square-foot deck with a 24-by-50 foot swimming pool, two hot tubs, three fire pits, and a stocked bar. With a location in Telluride’s Mountain Village, the new Sky Terrace offers spectacular San Juan mountain views to hotel guests and residents.

Renovations began in 2014 following an ownership change with the property being acquired by Northview Hotel Group; the group has since focused on making the hotel into Telluride’s crown jewel. Other renovations have included the M Club a 3,000-square foot family-friendly gastro pub featuring local cuisine, a game room, and an indoor/outdoor bar. Madeline Hotel also added the Black Iron Kitchen & Bar, which offers modern mountain cuisine and an inviting après ski atmosphere complete with live music and fireside tables. Kids got an upgrade with the 20 Below Hangout featuring a movie lounge, electronic gaming consoles and more.

These improvements follow on the heels of new service and amenity upgrades introduced ahead of this winter, including a new hyper-attentive ski valet service, which includes a ski ambassador service offering twice-daily mountain tours. The Madeline Hotel also added a new yoga and pilates studio as well as a full service hair and nail salon.
