After the ridesharing company Uber launched in the Tahoe region in December, competitor Lyft has decided to follow. The company and its ubiquitous pink mustaches announced last week that its service is now available throughout Lake Tahoe and Truckee. And as the Tahoe Daily Tribune recently pointed out, Lyft's move into Tahoe coincides with its deal with the Reno-Tahoe International Airport that allows Lyft drivers to drop off and pick up at the airport.
