Michelle Beadle, host of ESPN's SportsNation, moved around a lot as a kid—she spent time in a brown-and-orange '70s house in Ohio, a rose-and-lacquer '80s house built custom in Texas, and a villa in a tiny town in Italy. (Her mother is a former "super-hippie" from Italy; her father is a former Valero exec from Texas.)
As a young adult, she bounced from Texas to Florida to Canada and back before interning with the San Antonio Spurs and beginning her television career as a reporter on the Professional Bull Riders tour. Now, after a long stretch in New York City, she's moved to a house in the hills of Los Angeles, where she and her boyfriend have plenty of room for their many, many dogs—Beadle is a celebrity ambassador for the Best Friends Animal Society—and lots of personal photos.
For Home Sweet Home, Curbed talked to 30 engaging personalities across a range of industries to learn about where they grew up and what home means to them. Follow Michelle Beadle on Twitter.
