We're fresh off a relaunch and continuing to build our team here at Curbed. Sometimes that means bringing on outside talent (more on that in a second), and occasionally it means promoting one of our own. I'm pleased to announce that Adrian Glick Kudler, senior editor of the Curbed LA site, will move up the ranks as our new west coast features editor. She'll be working in our longform features department, committing more time and energy to telling in-depth, enterprise stories from across California. (We know you have ideas for features you'd like to read, so put 'em in the comments.)
Since Adrian is switching focus, we're officially vetting applicants for the next editor of Curbed LA. Our ideal showrunner, as it were, has several years' experience in a fast-paced newsroom, juggling deadlines, and managing story feeds. Straight-up blogging is a plus, too, but the Curbed LA editor should demonstrate solid reporting chops: We want to break news, not just aggregate it. And it should go without saying that you love Los Angeles and have a deep knowledge of and insatiable curiosity for what makes the city tick.
