This Bizarre, Marble-Powered Instrument Is the Coolest Thing in the World

It's not the most efficient instrument, but it's still the best

Technically, the "Marble Machine" is played by the marbles, and powered by its creator, Martin Molin, of the Swedish band Wintergatan, turning a crank. But there's no time to quibble over semantics when we have something this incredible to watch videos of. Molin's instrument took 14 months of building and 3,000 individual parts, and we're pretty sure it was all worth it.
