↑ Los Angeles, CA (2 beds, 3 baths)—Revamped by architect Fritz Haeg in 2004, this 2,575-square-foot 1925 Spanish-style house in L.A.'s Silver Lake neighborhood is eye-popping to say the least. The update was apparently inspired by the Robert Schindler-designed modernist apartment complex across the street. Anyway, the multicolored house comes with lots of built-ins, huge windows, a spa-size shower and bath, and an infinity pool with dreamy views.
↑ New York, NY (4 beds, 2 baths)—This circa-1850s Brooklyn townhouse comes restored with redone parlor floors and fresh paint jobs. Note the sunny and generously sized rooms, some of which feature intricate fireplaces. The 2,200-square-foot house also includes a private terrace, plus a stone patio and garden to be shared with the property owner.
↑ San Francisco, CA (5 beds, 2 baths)—It's the quintessential San Francisco Victorian, renovated to a pretty vanilla polish. The 1,250-square-foot house has new appliances, updated bathrooms, large double-pane windows, walnut hardwood floors throughout, and a yard to share. Here, 1,250 square feet somehow fits in five bedrooms, so each one looks rather itsy-bitsy.
↑ Miami, FL (4 beds, 5.5 baths)—This 3,249-square-foot pad is a three-story penthouse in a downtown Miami luxury tower. Floor-to-ceiling windows with expansive city views are the name of the game. It also comes a 465-square-foot private rooftop patio and access to the building's two pools and a private theater.
↑ Washington, DC (2 beds, 1 bath)—For exactly $8,191/month, you can get a 2013-built townhome deep into Northwest D.C. The new-ish house is outfitted with white Shaker cabinetry, marble backsplash, a gas fireplace, and comes with two private garages, and a deck.
