Located in Råcksta, a suburb northwest of Stockholm, this circa-1700s three-bedroom Scandi dream home is a sublime combination of intricate historic details and polished modern design. First off, notice the gorgeous tiled fireplaces throughout the home, a Swedish tradition dating back to the 18th-century.
Most of the rooms also feature elaborately painted ceilings, a neat contrast to some of the more streamlined modern furniture seen around the apartment, including a classic Marcel Breuer Bauhaus Chair and table, benches, and stools from the cork-based line British designer Ilse Crawford created for Ikea. We also love that this place definitely got the memo about amazing houseplants.
