Somewhat less scary (and significantly more real) the drone-covered skyscraper, Aerodrome's 50-acre drone airport in Boulder City, Nevada—the first of its kind—is partially up and running. Its builders anticipate that it will be used primarily by commercial cargo services like Amazon Prime Air, although privately operated drones would also be able to land there.
