For too long, plants have been stuff into boring circular pots and rectangular boxes, deprived of the opportunity to occupy a truly interesting and inventive shape. But now, one project, which is currently making steady progress toward its $12,000 Kickstarter goal, aims to change all that. 3D Growers from Austin-based Logro Farms currently come in a variety of shapes—two of the most fun being a wearable wristwatch and a chess set where each piece contains a different succulent—but they hope to expand their roster a lot and allow people to truly customize their planters once the project is funded.
