Artist Builds Houses For Houseplants

Finally, the houseplants have homes of their own

These miniature houseplant abodes are the work of LA-based artist Jedediah Corwyn Voltz, who took pity on the poor, wretched plants that beauty our houses, but have no houses of their own. Now, at least 25 of them do, thanks to Voltz, who used his experience as a commercial prop maker to make these plant homes in the shape of everything from a treehouse to a watchtower to a windmill. The pieces are compiled into a series called Somewhere Small.
