Start the countdown: last week, business magnate/inventor/guy who is always one lab accident away from developing superpowers and trying to destroy Gotham Elon Musk showed up at a NASA press conference and announced that he would give a talk at the International Aeronautical Conference (IAC) in Guadalajara, Mexico this September where much would be revealed regarding "Something that would be effective for establishing a city on Mars." He expanded, "I think it’s going to sound pretty crazy," although whether he means more or less crazy than dropping thermonuclear weapons over the planet's poles to warm it up," as he suggested to Stephen Colbert last year, remains to be seen.
