Wage Gap Alarm Clock Can Wake You Up in More Ways Than One

The clock chimes when the workday is 79 percent over

This alarm clock, a collaboration between PARTY (the people who brought you the Song Wig) and MTV’s Look Different campaign, chimes once a day, when the workday is 79 percent complete in order to remind everyone in the office about the wage gap for women. (On average, American women earn 79 percent of what their male counterparts make, and that figure is even more drastic for women of color.) So, while it might not be a very good alarm clock for waking up for your job, it is an excellent alarm clock for staying woke in general.
