When Julia Child's charming little French cottage, "La Pitchoune," went on the market back in November, it was very cool but probably out of most of our price ranges at € 800,000. The house was subsequently purchased by business strategist and life coach Makenna Johnston, who reportedly has plans to turn it into a culinary retreat. But before that starts up (sometime in 2017) she's making the house available, via Airbnb, to anyone who can spend $695/night (or anyone who can spend about $115/night and has five friends, since the house comes with three bedrooms and six beds).
