This Necklace Is Alive and It Glows

Like light up sneakers, for adults

This necklace, a collaboration between experimental culinary team Bompas & Parr, London jewelry-design studio Goldie Rox, and scientist Simon Park, is a little expensive at $2,800. But then again, most jewelry is really expensive, and just sits around not even consuming matter or emitting luminescent light. This necklace does both those things, thanks to the fact that it is filled with water and dinoflagellates (glowing algae). This is like those light-up sneakers kids used to wear, but way, way cooler.
