YouTube-based inventor Colin Furze created this hoverbike out of parts supplied by Ford, and for a vehicle with no steering, no breaks, and "not even a real seat" it is pretty glorious, made no less so by the fact that after he'd finished making it and figured out how to drive it (more or less) Furze decided to add a fireworks-shooting gun to the front. If we all live in vast empty fields with no other people around and it didn't really matter which direction we were headed in, this is definitely how we would travel.
