From Los Angeles to New York, coworking spaces are taking major urban centers across the U.S. by storm, providing chic spaces for collective toil and, in some cases, making interesting (re)use of historic buildings.
But high-design coworking spaces aren't just for us Yankees: Across the pond, renaissance man and London-based designer Tom Dixon and his firm, Design Research Studio, added his lighting and furnishings touch to this swanky coworking space, Atrium, in the English capital.
Encompassing 84,000-square-feet in London's Camden neighborhood—at Camden Market, to be precise—the space is dotted with Dixon's sleek, modern take on the traditional wingback chair, as well as the perforated-metal pendant lamps from his 2015 collection, which, Dezeen notes, made its debut at Milan Design Week last year. Take a look around.
