Austrian street artist Nychos' statue of Sigmund Freud being dissected will be displayed in New York City's Flatiron Plaza from June 16 to 18. The statue, which features a stern-featured, marker-brandishing Freud split down the middle to release his happy skeleton and large brain is meant to "[pay] homage to the visionary's inner life as the pioneer of psychoanalysis." But really, how much explanation do you need to want to see this statue in person?
