Slovenian designer Nika Zupanc has released a line of adorable furniture and lighting pieces for Qeeboo, the recently-launched online design brand by Italian designer Stefano Giovannoni. Qeeboo aims to bring affordable pieces directly to the consumer—disrupting the traditional relationship between customer and physical stores—and Nika Zupanc's bold and whimsical works are sure to be a huge draw.
Though it may look too cute to sit on, the Ribbon chair takes the idea of a gift and transforms it into something that is at once functional and stylish. Made with pure injection molded plastic, the Ribbon chair comes in discrete black, immaculate white, and dust pink.
Pretty please—and with a cherry on top!—or, better yet, hanging from the ceiling. In addition to the Ribbon chair, Nika Zupanc has also created the Cherry lamp pendant featuring enticing curves and playfulness. Originally crafted in hand-blown glass, this edition for Qeeboo gets the glossy plastic treatment, and its modular assembly scheme allows you to create the cluster of your choice. The Cherry lamp is available in a variety of hues, including red, black, gold, silver, and white.
Qeeboo will also carry the darling Daisy lamp, available in an array of gloss pastels, the X chair and accompanying Table X, and the Scarlet table with a table top that resembles a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup (which can be flipped up or over.)
