Lots of houses are available for rent every day. But very few of them have a giant shark sticking through their roofs. In fact, it’s possible that only one of them has a giant shark sticking through its roof. It’s this one. That alone is probably reason enough to rent it. The house, located in Oxford, England, has had the shark since August 9, 1986, the 41st anniversary of atomic bomb being dropped on Nagasaki. It was installed "to express someone feeling totally impotent and ripping a hole in their roof out of a sense of impotence and anger and desperation," the house’s owner, Bill Heine said. The piece was done by artist John Buckley as was called "Untitled 1986." The listing is asking £2,300/month.
