Although there appears to be no truth to the Reddit-thread-speculation that this is where they filmed The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, this Swedish mansion called Fogelvik Slott (Fogelvik Castle) really looks like the kind of place where they could have shot a movie, and that’s what important. Dating back to the 14th century, the castle has had 33 owners since it was build—they’re all listing in the listing—and is now looking for its 34th. And it’s asking a mere 35 million SEK, or around $4.2 million. Plus whatever it costs to fix it up. But still.
