First Freeform 3D Printed House Is as Futuristic-Looking as You Would Expect

It is set to start production in 2017

Chicago-based architecture firm WATG won first prize in a 3D printing design competition with this house, which will is now set to begin the planning phases for actual production at the Tennessee lab of Branch Technology, which hosted the competition. And when you hear "freeform 3D printed house," this is probably something along the lines of what you imagine—a curving, asymmetrical, futuristic looking structure that most closely resembles one of those houses people want to build on Mars. It is supposed to begin printing in 2017.
