New Online Store is a One-Stop Shop for Vintage Italian Design

The Mark offers unique goods from renowned postmodern designers

For those of us who prefer a curated shopping experience—i.e., someone else to do all the treasure-hunting for us—this online-only startup may become your new favorite destination for vintage Italian home decor goods and furniture.

Founded by Mattia Nuzzo and based in Los Angeles, The Mark offers unique furniture, lighting, and accessories from 1960s to 1980s Italy, an era of booming design output in the country. The goods are presented in a user-friendly layout, featuring high-resolution photos, dimensions, and other relevant information including the designer and manufacturer of the item, and its production year. The website also provides the option of generating a PDF one-sheet of the item.

The Mark offers pieces from Italian design powerhouses including Angelo Mangiarotti, Joe Colombo, Sergio Asti, Afra and Tobia Scarpa, and Gianfranco Frattini. Take a look at a few of our favorite (fantasy) picks.
