While the phrase "Scandinavian minimalism" may call to mind an austere, all-white interior, this sleek new restaurant in Copenhagen bucks the notion that a quintessentially Danish interior must inherently be one with a neutral color (and material) palette and that "minimalism" means a colorless space.
Designed by Space Copenhagen, whose swanky 11 Howard hotel opened in New York City earlier this year, the restaurant, LouLou, features dark-blue velour banquettes, metallic and mirrored accents (like sconces), and walls painted a shade of pink that is most aptly described as "blush." No all-white finishes and fixtures here. See more over on Dezeen.
