West Elm launches furniture line with L.A.’s Commune Design

We’re feeling the west-coast-luxe vibes

Hot on the heels of news that West Elm has teamed up with upstart mattress company Casper to allow consumers to test mattresses in stores, West Elm has announced another collab with Los Angeles firm Commune Design that is sure to interest fans of a particular brand of luxe, west coast-meets-east coast style or Commune’s work for Ace Hotels in downtown L.A. and Palm Springs, California.

It’s the latest in West Elm’s designers and makers series of partnerships, which have previously seen the Brooklyn-based home goods and furnishings retailer teaming up with Alyson Fox, Eric Trine, Charlotte Canon of the Vintage Vogue, and more.

The collection includes seating (enviable leather sling chairs, we have our eyes on you), lighting, media consoles, rugs, throw pillows, home accessories, and more, starting at $39. Though West Elm is known for being a relatively affordable step up from Ikea, the price points here range from reasonable to expensive—just check out the tag on the Commune Shearling Chair, which goes for $1,799.

You can take at the full line on the West Elm site and see highlights below.
