As a video we posted this morning on our Facebook page displayed, there are multiple options available for people who want to have household items levitate, from drinking glasses to phone chargers to bonsai trees to lamps. And, right on cue, the next levitating households item has emerged: a combination smartphone watch charger and lamp.
The LIFT Anti Gravity Levitating Smartwatch Charger and Lamp is available for preorder on Kickstarter and has already sold more than 800 units (they started at $149 and are now available for as little as $159). It’s compatible with both Apple Watches and Pebbles, and turns into a lamp when it is not performing its charging duties.
Although so far levitating household devices have been contained mostly to chargers, lamps, and other small items, it remains our hope that in the near future we will be able to live in homes where everything is suspended a few inches off the ground. Somebody make the Levitating Bed happen.
