Online retailer Need Supply now offers decor, furniture, and home tech

The digital fashion retailer is jumping into the home goods game

For the online shopping-obsessed, there’s a new game in town: Digital retailer Need Supply Co., long known for its reasonably priced wardrobe building blocks like trousers, trench coats, t-shirts, and more, is now jumping into the home goods and furnishings fray. The new section of the site, dubbed "Life," offers lighting, ceramics, home tech, textiles, bath accessories, and more.

Of course, this model—fashion retailers entering the fray to sell home goods and furniture—isn’t entirely novel: Urban Outfitters has long catered to the masses with simple, Midcentury modern-inspired furnishings, and "bohemian" bedding, curtains, and accessories. But it’s a first for Need Supply, which appears to be aiming for a more clean-lined, Scandinavian-meets-Japanese aesthetic with the decor it has stocked.

So, what exactly will you find at Need Supply Life? Products by brands like Architectmade and Areaware, to Bang & Olufsen, Braun, Fort Standard (whose exhibition at this year’s Collective Design fair was among our favorites), Tom Dixon, and more are all on offer. For the full list, and to check out all the wares, head over to the Need Supply Life site.
