We’re not entirely sure (how could we be?) that this 30-square-foot apartment in Hong Kong is the worst apartment in the world. But we do know that if an apartment worse than this one exists, we do not want to see it.
Hong Kong news magazine HK01 recently got inside the apartment, just the "getting inside" part being a feat unto itself as the door opens into the room and appears to take up almost all of the available standing space by itself. It is asking 2000 HKD (around $250) per month and consists of a toilet, a sink that you can conveniently reach from the toilet, and a patch of floor with a partial wall in between in and the toilet.
On the plus side, if you have to get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom it is not a far trip. On the minus side, everything else.
