Location: Fernandina Beach, Florida

Price: $797,000

Gorgeous historic bones meets a contemporary polish in this circa-1883 Queen Anne Victorian in Fernandina Beach, a breezy Florida city located about 40 miles northeast of Jacksonville. Per the listing, the so-called Chadwick House was built by local mariner Captain Stephen Chadwick, Jr. and had been carefully maintained by the family over the years. It shows.

Throughout the four-bedroom, 3,332-square-foot home, you’ll find charming details like the intricate original fireplaces, stained glass windows, and tons of millwork to swoon over. More modern touches can be found in the kitchen with custom cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, and granite counters. High ceilings and lots of tall windows bring in plenty of sunshine, but there’s also always the wraparound porch and second floor balcony for taking in the verdant surroundings.

First listed in March 2015 for $1.8 million, the property has bumped around on the market for a while, seemingly unable to make up its mind about a price tag. After going off the market briefly in December, it’s now back for $797,000 after a huge price chop.
