When the original Tvan trailer debuted in 1999, the Australian company Track Trailer sought to revolutionize the RV industry by providing an efficient, tow-behind trailer that was also durable enough to go off road. Fast forward 18 years and the new hardtop Firetail takes its most popular options and loads them all into one rugged, $57,900 trailer.
Outdoorsy-types like lightweight, pull-behind trailers because they can be pulled with many small SUVs and easily parked when not in use. But some of the outdoor’s most popular destinations can be too much for most trailers to handle, and nothing’s worse than being forced to turn around due to rutted-out roads.
The Firetail camper solves this problem with a burly chassis and suspension that is bolstered by a five year warranty. Smart design also capitalizes on space; the Firetail’s kitchen slides out from below the enclosed queen-sized sleeping section and features a three burner stove, stainless steel sink, and storage drawers. There’s even a large awning that protects campers from wind and rain.
One of the Firetail’s most unique elements is the attachable tent that drops down to create additional living space. You can sleep in the Firetail without the tent, but when the tent is up you have an instant living room that’s perfect for hanging out after a long day or for getting dressed in the morning.
The Firetail is rugged enough to get you where you want to be in the wild, but still boasts a quick setup and enough amenities to make camping a breeze. Head over here for more details.
