Paris basketball court gets a berry beautiful makeover

Simply gorgeous

The world’s funkiest basketball court just got a makeover and we are here for it. Sandwiched between a row of Parisian apartment buildings, the slanted lot on Rue Duperré was first transformed into a trippy ball court doused in primary colors in 2015 by French fashion brand Pigalle and art direction firm Ill-Studio. Now, on the occasion of Pigalle’s new collection with NIKElab, the companies have teamed up again to give the court a berrylicious, gradient-lovin’ new look.

With painted geometries that make the space appear even trippier, the revamped court calls to mind the fantastical world of the iOS game Monument Valley—and we mean that as a compliment. Love surprising urban ball courts? We know an Instagram account for just that (plus plenty of other cool accounts you should check out now).
