Location: Tampa, Florida

Price: $460,000

This midcentury modern home was designed by Frank DePasquale and completed in 1961. Located in Tampa, Florida, it sits on the bank of the Hillsborough River on an over-half-acre site and enjoys waterfront views as well as incredible indoor-outdoor living, integrating seamlessly into the surrounding landscape.

Although updated in parts, the three-bedroom, two-bath residence retains much of its original elements, including its unique floorplan and glass expanses. The house comprises three main volumes: a large central space and two smaller cubes flanking either side. A floating porch marks the entrance, which is set back from the street.

In this main space are an open kitchen, living, and dining area, which is framed by a wall of full-height windows facing the rear of the property. Beyond that is a covered and glazed patio that also appears to float above the pool and yard, which are accessed by taking a few steps down. Here a pool terrace gives way to a verdant lawn, which in turns opens directly onto the river.

Located at 5708 Puritan Road, it’s offered at $460,000 after a recent price cut of $15,000. Have a look.
